Virtual appointments are available for out-of-state clients. 

In person appointments available address will be provided once booked.  
Location: Dallas, NC (20 minutes outside of Charlotte, NC city limits).

  • If you decide to book, your consultation fee will be deducted from the total cost of your gown.  This fee is NON REFUNDABLE.

Custom Dress Process

 

Step 1: Book Your Appointment

In a virtual appointment, I’ll use your inspiration photos along with my suggestions to create a custom sketch for your dress. Together, we’ll choose colors, fabrics, and embellishments, including options like crystals and pearls. I’ll also guide you through taking your measurements over Zoom to ensure a perfect fit.

Appointment Fee:

A booking fee of $100.

Deposit:

A 50% deposit of the total dress price is due at the end of your virtual appointment. You’ll receive a secure payment link via Zoom, along with a DocuSign contract outlining timelines and shipping dates.

Step 2: First Fitting

Payment Schedule:

The remaining 50% of your dress’s total price will be due when it’s ready for shipping, typically about two months after your deposit. At this point, the dress will be 70% complete, with the full construction finished in your chosen materials. Any additional hand-beading, like crystals, pearls, or 3D elements, will be added after the fitting to ensure a perfect fit.

Shipping and Virtual Fitting:

Your dress will be shipped in a double-protected garment bag, securely packed in a box. A prepaid return shipping label will be included for your convenience. All shipping is handled through UPS, with a signature required upon delivery to ensure safe arrival.

Once the dress arrives, you’ll schedule a Zoom fitting within the week by sending an email. During this virtual fitting, I’ll guide you through the ideal fit and discuss any needed adjustments. If significant alterations are required, I’ll inform you, as this may affect the timeline slightly.

After the fitting, simply use the provided return label to send the dress back to me, and I’ll complete the final touches.

Payment Plan:

1. Appointment Fee: $100

2. Deposit: 50% of the total dress price is due at the end of your virtual appointment.

3. Final Payment: The remaining balance is due once your dress is ready to ship, typically within two months of your deposit. Late payments may delay delivery and risk missing your event date; a $100 late fee may apply depending on the timeline.

4. Payment Methods: Accepted methods include Debit, Zelle, Credit Card,.

Time Frames:

Prom Dresses: 1-3 months * ask designer for rush shipping 

Birthday Dresses: 1-3 months

Wedding Dresses: 6 months to 2 years in advance

Pricing:

Prom Dresses: $800-$2,300+ (plus tax; includes shipping)

Birthday Dresses: $300-$1,900+ (plus tax; includes shipping)

Bridal Dresses: $1,500-$5,500+ (plus tax; includes shipping)

 

Taxes: A 7% North Carolina sales tax will be added to the final price.

 

Preparing for Your Virtual Appointment:

On the day of your virtual appointment, please have the following items ready:

1. Inspiration Photos: Bring any ideas or examples you like (even rough ideas are welcome).

2. Wear Appropriate Clothing: A tank top and fitted clothing, like leggings, help ensure accurate measurements.

3. Measuring Tape: Use a soft, flexible measuring tape (not a construction tape).

4. High Heels: Bring the heels you plan to wear with the dress (if applicable) to measure the correct dress length.

5. Deposit: Be ready with your 50% deposit.

Note: Wearing the proper attire is essential for accurate measurements. If these items aren’t available, we may need to reschedule.

Measurements:

To ensure accuracy, I guide you through the measurement process during our Zoom session; I do not accept measurements taken by others.

Getting a Quote:

To receive an estimate before booking, email your inspiration photos top support@kingrhinestone.com. All images will be used as references only unless it’s a King Rhinestone Couture original design. This helps you know the approximate total cost before your appointment.

Communication:

Aside from our three Zoom meetings, all communication will be via email. I respond to emails within 24 hours to ensure clear communication throughout.

Refund Policy:

Due to the custom nature of each dress, orders are non-refundable once fabrics, style, and fit are selected.
